NPR: Too much free WiFi, bad for business?

As a company that prides itself on the ability to be completely “Virtual” (that is, we no longer have an official brick-and-mortar location), we enjoy the benefits of free WiFi from what seems like an endless supply of locations throughout the world, and obviously a large portion of that time we spend right in our own home-town coffee shop(s). Check out this news report from NPR about the debate coffee houses are having about limiting free WiFi. Say it isn’t so!

“We’re completely virtual now, ” Byrne said. The Savannah-based company has no corporate office. The staff uses laptops, cell phones and iPhones to work from home, in parks, in restaurants and abroad. They go online to share documents and to video conference.
