Complete with an MLS feed and all sorts of shiny new ways to sort their listings, The Landings Company launched their fully re-designed and re-developed web site this week.

Smack Dab Studios worked side-by-side with their Marketing team and their Realtors to focus on showcasing The Landings’ many benefits and amenities. The in-house Marketing team can now update any portion of the site and rotate out featured promotional areas throughout.
When Byrd Cookie Company approached Smack Dab Studios with their latest idea, we knew it would be the perfect fit for our in-house-geeks Blake and Huey. Working closely with the client, Smack Dab designed and developed a custom addition to their existing web site allowing their customers to upload photographs and choose from a variety of cookie tins on which their image could be reproduced. This feature gave Byrd the added interactivity that they’d been looking for – and in-turn it will save their company hours by their staff which used to be spent coordinating the sending/receiving of images & proofs. Now customers can complete the entire transaction online in just a few clicks.
Just in time for the holiday season, the new and snazzy (it’s our blog, we can say that, right?) “Make My Tin” application makes it possible for anyone to design a custom cookie tin! In three easy steps one can upload a picture, choose a color, and after composing a catchy greeting, have the tins shipped out to family and friends!
We pride ourselves on being able to answer the question “Can you do that…?” with a “Yep, done and done!”
Take the new “Make My Tin” for a test drive – and order some cookies for your loved ones or your favorite Smack Dabbers for the Holiday season: http://www.byrdcookiecompany.com/product/1021/41
The Lansera Group, a local company helmed by Ross Harding and Howard Morrison, has selected Smack Dab Studios to create a complete branding and design package, which includes everything from developing logos and designing business collateral to creating multiple web sites. The company’s subsidiaries, Energy Launch Partners and Energy Launch Developments, foster and consult companies developing alternative energy sources. The Lansera Group welcomed the opportunity to work with our full-service firm and appreciated the fact that we offer a comprehensive range of branding, graphic design and web services.

We’re thrilled to announce that the new Colonial Dames web site is live at www.nscdaga.org. This sleek, patriotic-themed site marks the first time that the National Society of The Colonial Dames of America in The State of Georgia has enjoyed a stand-alone web site.

The user-friendly site includes updated information about the Colonial Dames historic properties in Georgia, including the Andrew Low House in Savannah. In addition to designing the site, we also secured the new domain name, developed the branding and created a complete content management system allowing the Dames to update their site as needed.

The real estate division at The Landings, an award-winning residential community on Skidaway Island, recently selected us to create a new web site, which will officially debut in the spring of 2010. The new site will feature state-of-the-art real estate tools, streamlined web-based systems and direct-feed MLS listings. We plan to integrate the company’s rental listings and enhance the ability to feature homes for sale at this award-winning community.

As a company that prides itself on the ability to be completely “Virtual” (that is, we no longer have an official brick-and-mortar location), we enjoy the benefits of free WiFi from what seems like an endless supply of locations throughout the world, and obviously a large portion of that time we spend right in our own home-town coffee shop(s). Check out this news report from NPR about the debate coffee houses are having about limiting free WiFi. Say it isn’t so!
